Ladysmith Federal Savings and Loan Association opened its doors in 1934. We began with a small staff of only one who’s main charter as an association was to provide mortgages, savings accounts, certificates of deposit and share loans.

Today, Ladysmith Federal is a thriving full service financial institution with a staff of ten and an active board of directors. Our goal is to meet all of our customers’ needs with a wide-variety of services including checking, saving and loan accounts along with credit cards, debit cards and free online bill pay, just to name a few.

Although you can expect exciting changes as we grow to meet your needs, one thing will not change: our friendly, professional staff and our shared commitment to our community. We are one of the few mutual associations that exist today.  We pay both federal and state income taxes.  Mutual organizations are rare in today’s financial world … we are proud to give all that we can back to our community.
